And still life

I painted this last week and when I stood back to look at it, I marveled that I could actually draw a circle. I’m holding down the fort with two dogs, one gecko, and two fish to look after. Because it’s so quiet in the house—both of the dogs sleep at least 18 hours a day—it gives me time to paint and write and maybe think about what to paint and write.
