It’s so important to get outside and surround oneself with trees, flowers, fields and whatever else the natural world has to offer. They remind me to that they’re strong and resistant enough to come back every year. Just like us.
Thank you for this thoughtful moment, Rachel. I think of that concept in regard to birds often. In spite of a "deck stacked against" their survival, they live in the present. They continue to migrate small and large distances to bring new life, nourish it and attempt to live to another cycle. I think we often miss entirely or certainly underappreciate these small signs of that desire to live another day, another year, another lifetime.
